Standing to serve Fair Havens Hospices and its patients for more than 30 years, this site has been a strong support for the local community, preserving itself as a beloved build that has touched the hearts of many.
The current facility opened in 1983 and is comprised of residential houses with two joined together into one larger build and the other being detached. Various adaptations have been made over the years, but it is no longer fit for purpose as they look to expand the room and services for their patients. Fair Havens Hospices are therefore seeking to sell their existing buildings in Chalkwell, ready to move to a new site in Prittlewell, which is due to open in 2020.
